Another unlikely Man Utd swap deal! Barcelona supposedly willing to exchange Raphinha for outcast Jadon Sancho

Sancho has been looking for a way out of Manchester for months now. After being exiled earlier this season for a public dispute with manager Erik ten Hag, the former Dortmund winger is thought to be surplus to requirements. And it reportedly leaves a chance for Barca to sign the England international, with the Blaugrana willing to part with Raphinha to seal what would be a sensational swap deal, according to Sport.

Raphinha's name has consistently cropped up in transfer gossip columns after a middling first season in Catalonia. He has been linked with Chelsea and Arsenal, while the emergence of highly-rated winger Lamine Yamal at Barca has his long-term future up for debate.

Any deal for Raphinha could be complicated by a conflict of interest. Barca sporting director Deco, who would be responsible for negotiations, is the Brazilian's former agent, and helped broker the deal that landed him at Camp Nou in 2022.

Sancho is reportedly hopeful of a Man Utd return, but Ten Hag has called on the winger to make the first move — something he appears unwilling to do. Raphinha, meanwhile, will continue to fight for his spot in the crowded attacking ranks for Xavi's side.
