    Tuchel was officially introduced as the new England manager at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday, following the signing of an 18-month contract. With his official start date set for January 1, 2025, the German is expected to bring significant changes to the squad, particularly in key positions, as he will be preparing the team for global glory in the 2026 World Cup.

    According to The Telegraph, one of the most immediate questions under Tuchel’s new regime concerns the future of Jordan Pickford as England’s first-choice goalkeeper. The 30-year-old Everton stopper has been the undisputed No. 1 since the 2018 World Cup, where he excelled under former manager Southgate but now faces intense competition to retain his starting role ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
