THE BIGGER PICTURE
Lehmann heads into Euro 2025 after a season where she won the double with Juventus but was not a regular in the side. The Swiss usually plays on the right of the attack but could be handed a shock role for the national team, according to her manager.

Sundhage also responded to rumours there has been unrest in the camp about the intensity of the training sessions. She added: "It's not a nice rumor, but it's a rumor nonetheless. There are reasons why we have a team of fitness coaches and psychologists. We talk every day, and I think we're doing a good job so far."
