THE BIGGER PICTURE
The former Nottingham Forest and Manchester City star, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT, visited Vegas to watch his rugby league team, Warrington Wolves, play Wigan Warriors. He was on his way back to his homeland when the incident happened. During last weekend's Premier League clash between Forest and City, fans from both sides applauded in the third minute of the game in a show of support for Pearce.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID
Pearce's talkSPORT colleague, Sam Matterface, told the listeners: "I spoke to him yesterday, and he was in great spirits. He isn’t 100 per cent — that is definitely the case. But he’s in the right place in the hospital."
