VIDEO: USWNT stars Sophia Smith and Mallory Swanson combine for first goal of the Emma Hayes era vs Korea Republic

Smith flicked on a sensational ball into the box to catch a running Swanson, who fired home in clinical fashion. It was the ninth goal in her last nine starts, with the Chicago Red Stars winger in fine form on the international stage.

Tierna Davidson doubles the USWNT's lead just minutes after Swanson's opener, with the Gotham FC defender scoring just her second-ever international goal.

She then notched a brace, as did Swanson, with both scoring second half goals to secure a 4-0 victory.

The USWNT returns to St. Paul on Tuesday evening to take on Korea Republic in the second match of the doubleheader friendly series between the two nations. Smith and Swanson will look to continue their fine form in Minnesota.
