She was appointed shortly after Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney purchased the club in November 2020. Wrexham’s promotion to the third-tier was secured with a 6-0 victory over Forest Green earlier this month, with Phil Parkinson’s side finishing second in the League Two table on 88 points.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Robinson’s departure is another clear sign Wrexham are already preparing for life in League One following the conclusion of the regulation League Two season. News of her exit came on the same day the Red Dragons confirmed that eight first-team players had been released.

  • WHAT ROBINSON, REYNOLDS AND MCELHENNEY SAID

Robinson told Wrexham’s official website: “It has been a privilege to lead Wrexham as CEO for past three years. I am proud that I leave the club in a much better position on and off the pitch than when I arrived.”

Reynolds and McElhenney added: “We are extremely grateful for all that Fleur has done in transforming the club over the past couple of years and we wish her every success with her future plans.”
