Ruben Amorim moves out of Manchester hotel shared by Jose Mourinho and into suburban house ahead of arrival to England of wife and children

Following the footsteps of his idol Jose Mourinho, Amorim checked into the Lowry Hotel after arriving in Manchester from Lisbon in November. However, unlike Mourinho, who spent 895 nights at the famous Manchester hotspot during his stint at Old Trafford, Amorim has checked out after a little over one month, according to the Daily Mail.

The report adds that the Portuguese manager has found a temporary house in southern Manchester and is looking for a permanent house in Hale before he is joined by his wife and two children in 2025. Several United players, including Amorim's compatriot and club captain Bruno Fernandes, reside in Hale.

The former Sporting CP boss did not have the ideal start to his journey in England. Under his management, United have lost three out of the six Premier League games they have played and have remained in 13th place with 22 points from 17 outings.

United hope to return to winning ways on Boxing Day as they travel to Molineux to face Wolves in the Premier League.
