In an effort to give new manager Alonso the best squad possible for the Club World Cup and the upcoming campaign, Real Madrid are coming up with answers to their problems under Carlo Ancelotti. As such, Los Blancos have shown interest in Zubimendi over the last few weeks and as per Spanish publication AS, the 15-time European champions are now set to make their 'final push' for the midfielder.

As per Marca, Arsenal are sweating over Zubimendi's decision after Real made contact with the player, although the Spanish giants would struggle to match the English side's salary offer. However, the Real Sociedad midfielder is still said to be undecided on his future heading into the summer.
