The Brazilian was shown a straight red during Betis' 2-1 win over Getafe last weekend but his loan club are hopeful they can successfully appeal this dismissal. The 25-year-old made it clear he is champing at the bit to face Madrid on Saturday and is also hopeful he will get a favourable decision on his suspension.

WHAT ANTONY SAID
He said, via Mundo Deportivo: “I am always looking forward to playing. I still don't know if I will be able to do so on Saturday, we are going to try to appeal. The move is a bit difficult. There will be an appeal and I am ready to play against Madrid. I am enjoying myself a lot, I am very happy."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Antony had looked like a new player since swapping United for Betis on loan earlier this year. The ex-Ajax man has scored three goals and bagged two assists in six appearances and is clearly relishing his chance to play regular football again after a nightmare spell with the Red Devils.
