Paul Scholes won't like this! Free agent Jesse Lingard posts pictures of another solo training session following Man Utd legend's 'f*ck about in the gym' jibe

The Manchester United legend had sent a brutal message to the player after he had posted various pictures of him training on Instagram. He wrote: “Are you just gonna f*ck about in the gym or are you gonna actually play football?”

Although in the last carousel of images Lingard has stepped onto the grass, he is seen training alone which again might not please Scholes!

In the final image of the Instagram post, Lingard has shared a message which reads: "Discipline is explaining to your brain every day that you need to sacrifice immediate pleasures to receive greater rewards in the future."

Lingard has been looking for a club since last summer after he was released by Nottingham Forest at the end of the 2022-23 campaign. He trained with Premier League side West HamandSaudi Arabian outfit Al-Ettifaq with the hope of getting a contract, but there was no luck.

Everton have been reported to have an interest in Lingard as they look to reinforce their attack in January. Whereas, a move across the Atlantic to join Lionel Messi in MLS has also been mooted. But there have been no concrete talks and the 31-year-old is busy keeping himself fit so that he can pounce on any opportunity that might arise in the winter transfer market.
