    The 17-year-old winger fired home what proved to be the winning goal against Juventude in Brazil's Serie A on Sunday night, hitting the target with a powerful strike at the back post. After reeling away in jubilation, he decided to do Palmer's trademark manoeuvre in a nod to finally completing his transfer to Chelsea.

    Nicknamed 'Messinho', Estevao and Palmeiras sealed a hotly-anticipated transfer agreement with Chelsea on Saturday, and he will move to Stamford Bridge in 2025 once he has turned 18. The Blues will make an upfront payment of €34 million (£29m/$36m) in a deal could eventually be worth £56m ($71m) with add-ons, with Estevao touted to be the next big thing to emerge from Brazil.

    Estevao shared an image of the celebration on his Instagram story and tagged Palmer, who in turn reshared it with the message "Soon" alongside a 'winking' emoji and a blue heart. The Brazilian also posted the photo to his grid, where Palmer responded with a 'cold' emoji.

    Palmer isn't the only Estevao fan out there either. Asked about who excites him most from the next generation of Brazilian stars at a recent event, current talisman Neymar said: "I think Estevao is the big talent that is surging in Brazilian football. I think he will be a genius." Given their investment in the youngster, Chelsea will hope that is the case as they prepare to welcome him in 2025.
