While the bicycle kick was great to watch, Mounsef Bakrar's performances over the past two seasons with NYCFC have shown promise but also room for improvement. In the 2023 season, Bakrar made 10 appearances, all starts, scoring three goals in 754 minutes of play. That improved to five goal contributions in 28 games in the 2024 season, out of which 14 were starts.
