Mohammed Kudus is heading to Spurs! Tottenham set to complete blockbuster £55m transfer for West Ham attacker

Tottenham have been pursuing Kudus for some time, and according to The Athletic's David Ornstein, terms have now been agreed with the Hammers. The 24-year-old is scheduled to have a medical at his new club on Thursday ahead of signing a six-year deal.

Thomas Frank's new club have been working hard to get their man. A Premier League and Champions League victory bonus has been inserted into Kudus' contract in order to get it over the line, according to reports. That negotiation, coupled with a hefty £55m transfer fee, has allowed the north London club to pin down the versatile attacking midfielder days before the start of pre-season.

The Athletic claim Kudus might not necessarily have been Frank's first choice, but he will welcome the transfer because he loves players who are versatile. The Ghanaian can play on the wings or as a No.10.

Subject to Thursday's medical, Kudus is likely to join up with the Spurs squad ahead of their first pre-season friendly of the summer, an away fixture against Reading at the Select Car Leasing Stadium on July 19. Frank's new-look squad is taking shape, with the club also reportedly set to swoop in for Brentford striker Yoane Wissa in the coming days.
