WHAT HAPPENED?
The captain turned 31 on Wednesday while she is on a pre-season tour of the United States with her Blues team-mates. A few days earlier, team-mate Lexi Potter turned 18, and the pair celebrated a double birthday party with the club.

Blues stalwart Bright, however, was also given a special tribute by the club, as they presented a cake with a picture of the Lionesses centre-back, as well as another one with the Chelsea badge on it.

Bright has been with the London club for almost 10 years and has won seven WSL titles, helping guide the Blues to the league crown for the fifth time in a row last season. They are preparing to start a new era under new coach Sonia Bompastor, who replaced Emma Hayes' move to the United States women's team.
