Balotelli joined Serie A side Genoa in October as a free agent after having left Adana Demirspor in the summer following the end of his contract with the side. However, things haven’t gone as swimmingly as the former Italy striker may have been hoping for as he has played just 56 minutes under Patrick Viera.

With the likes of Andrea Pinamonti, Jeff Ekhator and Vitinha preferred to start over Balotelli, the former Manchester City striker could make a move away from Genoa in the January transfer window. As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, Mexican side Cruz Azul are interested in signing the Italian striker.
