    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The change of scenery gained with the move away from his boyhood club has done wonders for Rashford, who has four goals and six assists in 17 appearances for Villa. Similarly, Antony has five goals and four assists in 18 games for Betis.

Villa have the option to sign Rashford permanently for £40 million ($53m), though Barcelona have also been linked with a move for his services. Ian Wright suggested this week that Newcastle United should make a move for Rashford. Betis reportedly had an offer to take Antony on a season-long loan deal for next campaign rejected by United, who are said to want recoup £30m ($40m) for the winger in a permanent transfer.

  • WHAT AMORIM SAID

Amorim said: "All the players on loan will return and then the club will decide what to do at the end of the season. When you put a player on loan the best thing is for them to perform. All these [loan] players have talent and they have to put that on the team.

"The talent of Rashford, the talent of Antony, they all have talent. We are really happy because if you put players on loan you want them to perform. That is good for us."
