    WHAT MARC SKINNER SAID

He told reporters: "I've been fortunate enough in my time to work with some incredible goalkeepers, but for me, she has an agility and an athleticism that I don't think many can match.

"She's got lots and lots of qualities, and statistically I think she'll perform to hopefully be the best goalkeeper. We're in a game of opinions, but my opinion fixed in with those statistics is that she's an incredible goalkeeper, and somebody I think can be the world's very best."

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

United have the best defence in the Women's Super League, with just six goals conceded from 14 games and Tullis-Joyce has been a huge part of that. The American has kept nine clean sheets and if she keeps this up, her reputation will continue to sky rocket.
