Man Utd 'explore potential summer move' for former goalkeeper starring in Serie A amid Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir struggles

Ruben Amorim's side have made "initial contact" with Torino and are ready to "explore a potential summer move" for Milinkovic-Savic, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Red Devils are now waiting to hear back from the Serie A side regarding price. The Torino stopper is expecting to move on this season after an impressive season in Serie A and is thought to be keen on signing for the Premier League side.

Milinkovic-Savic began his career at Old Trafford back in 2014 but was released as he was unable to obtain a work permit. The goalkeeper moved on to Polish side Lechia Gdańsk and the signed for Torino in 2017. He enjoyed loan spells at SPAL, Ascoli and Standard Liege before going on to become first choice at Torino.

Milinkovic-Savic is known to be something of a giant. He stands at 6ft 8in tall, some three inches higher than PSG stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Any move for Milinkovic-Savic will depend on his price tag and also United's plans for the current stoppers. Andre Onana has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League after an underwhelming season, while back-up Altay Bayindir's future at the club also remains uncertain.
