It has been a nightmare so far for the reigning English champions in the 2024-25 campaign as they have won just one game out of their last 12 outings across all competitions and are currently seventh in the Premier League table. They are 12 points behind leaders Liverpool, who also have a game in hand. However, despite their poor run of form on the pitch, the players decided to wind down at their annual Christmas party with their partners. Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan were among the stars papped on the night.

Despite the players' on-field struggles, they did enjoy the event with big smiles on their faces. It was a much-needed break for the Cityzens, who now need to get back on the field and start winning matches to at least stand a chance of finishing among the top four teams in the league.

Pep Guardiola has decided to cancel the team's Christmas Day off as he plans to conduct an extra training session in wake of the team's poor form, as confirmed by star English defender Kyle Walker.

The defending champions are back in action in the Premier League on Boxing Day as they host Everton at the Etihad Stadium.
