Lotte Wubben-Moy called up to Lionesses squad as Maya Le Tissier is added to England's growing injury list ahead of games with the USWNT and Switzerland

Wubben-Moy is a regular in England squads but wasn't initially included by Sarina Wiegman on this occasion, having only just returned from her own concussion. The 25-year-old has been an unused sub in three of Arsenal's last four games, playing only five minutes from the bench in the outlier, as she continues her return to full fitness.

However, she's now been called up by the Lionesses for their final games of 2024, after Le Tissier was diagnosed with concussion following Sunday's Women's Super League defeat to Chelsea. The defender has returned to Manchester United for assessment and will now progress through the 'return to play' concussion protocol, having been ruled out of the U.S. clash at Wembley.

Le Tissier is the latest name added to a growing list of injury absentees, with England already without Lauren James, Lauren Hemp, Ella Toone and Niamh Charles in this international window.

Wiegman still has plenty of quality at her disposal as she and her Lionesses team aim to end 2024 on a high, though, with the U.S. to visit Wembley on November 29 before Switzerland face England at Bramall Lane in Sheffield on December 3.
