THE BIGGER PICTURE
On Thursday, Colombian outlet El Pilon reported that Luis Manuel, who is more often known in his native country as Mane, would have a heart catheterisation within the next several hours. A flexible tube known as a catheter is inserted into a blood artery and sent to the heart. His family denied reports that he had a heart attack and Mane himself refuted the seriousness of the issue.
WHAT MANE SAID
Speaking to Colombian journalist Hamilton Daa, Mane said [via The Daily Mail]: "I thank God for keeping me healthy again.
"I'm a bit worried but thanks to God everything is fine, it's nothing serious. The doctors have certified it's just pain and has nothing to do with heart problems.
"There's no need for anyone to be concerned. There's 'Mane' for a while."
