Liverpool continued their march towards Premier League glory with a commanding 2-0 win over Newcastle United at Anfield, further solidifying their position at the top of the table. Szoboszlai, in excellent form, opened the scoring in the 11th minute, whereas, the second goal arrived in the 63rd minute, with Mac Allister making no mistake to find the net after a brilliant piece of play from Salah.

With this crucial victory, Liverpool have opened up a 13-point gap at the top of the Premier League standings. Arsenal, their nearest challengers, could only manage a 0-0 draw against Nottingham Forest, leaving the Reds with an increasingly commanding advantage, albeit having played a game more than the Gunners.
