Club are struggling to qualify for Champions League
Rose has been dismissed after his side's 1-0 loss at Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday, the latest failure in a run of three wins in 11 matches in all competitions. It leaves the club three points off fourth position with just seven games remaining of the league campaign.

Klopp took charge as Head of Global Soccer for Red Bull in January and is involved in planning the long-term strategy for all of the group's clubs. RB Leipzig have been arguably their most successful operation, competing at the top of the Bundesliga for several seasons an in the Champions League, but they must now reset.
WHAT RB LEIPZIG SAID
In a statement on Rose's departure, RB Leipzig said: "Marco Rose has been relieved of his duties as RB Leipzig head coach with immediate effect. His coaching team of Alexander Zickler, Marco Kurth and Frank Geideck have also left the club, along with Frank Aehlig (head of first team football)."

RB Leipzig are back in action on Wednesday when they take on Stuttgart in the semi-final of the DFB-Pokal. They then host Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
