TNT Sports issue incredible comeback to Jurgen Klopp's bizarre 'Amnesty International' rant as they mock Liverpool manager's hatred of 12:30pm kick-offs

Ahead of his penultimate match at Anfield against Tottenham on Sunday, Liverpool boss Klopp was scathing in his assessment of how broadcaster’s manage the English fixture schedule. Despite being in the Europa League, the Reds have had the most 12.30pm Saturday kick-offs this season - and the most since the start of the 2017-18 campaign.

Most Premier League clubs struggled in Europe this season, with Liverpool, West Ham, Arsenal and Manchester City all exiting their respective competitions at the quarter-final stage - Aston Villa being the only team to reach the semi-finals. But Klopp’s fury at the decisions made by broadcasters prompted a hilarious response from TNT Sports on Twitter as they mocked his hatred of 12.30pm kick-offs.

Liverpool are struggling at the end of the season and have won just one of their last five Premier League games. They are currently third, with 75 points, five behind leaders Arsenal and four behind second-placed Manchester City; Pep Guardiola's side also have a game in hand.

With Liverpool’s title challenge disintegrating in recent weeks, Sunday’s fixture against Tottenham should feel more like an early farewell for the German boss. The Reds’ final two Premier League fixtures see them travel to Aston Villa before hosting Wolves on the final day.
