'Bad week' - Jude Bellingham reacts to 'important' Real Madrid win over Villarreal as he sends message to Dani Carvajal after dreaded ACL injury

Federico Valverde and Vinicius Jr. were on target for Los Blancos as they breezed past Villarreal in La Liga on Saturday. While Los Blancos successfully kept their unbeaten streak in La Liga running, they dealt with a major injury blow as Dani Carvajal was ruled out of action on a long-term basis after suffering a ruptured ACL.

After the game, Real star Bellingham took to Instagram as he reacted to the club's victory while sending a message to his injured colleague. In the caption, the midfielder wrote, "Important reaction to a bad week, only way is up after the internationals! Stay strong @dani.carvajal.2 we love you!"

Along with Carvajal, Vincius Jr. too suffered an injury as he had to leave the pitch soon after scoring his team's second goal. After undergoing medical tests on the player's injury, the club confirmed on Sunday that the Brazilian was diagnosed with a cervical injury.

Carlo Ancelotti's side are currently second on the league table, three points behind arch-rivals Barcelona. They will be next seen in action after the international break as they face Celta Vigo on October 19 in La Liga.
