    The ex-NFL star and Burnley co-owner revealed that Didier Drogba and Chelsea were his introduction to the world's game, and that after he retired, his passion for the Blues made him look into ownership opportunities. His wife, Keali Watt, being a former professional soccer player in the NWSL also inspired him to pursue what he now dubs a 'true passion project.'

    He told CBS Sports: "Near the end of my career I knew I wanted to get into ownership, I just didn't know... I looked at MLS, I looked at NWSL and I also looked at the Premier League and the Burnley opportunity came about and every single box was checked, it was a perfect match. I truly love it, this is my true passion project."
