Jamie Vardy to link up with Lionel Messi?! Leicester legend's wife Rebekah fuels Inter Miami speculation with social media post - but transfer brutally rubbished

Rebekah Vardy has posted a cheeky image on Instagram, showing her and Jamie's three children in Inter Miami kits. The picture led many fans to speculate that he could be MLS-bound after his Leicester City exit, with the ex-England international still searching for a new club. However, sources have told the Daily Mail that the teased move is highly unlikely. 

In a brutal assessment of Vardy's reputation, the source claimed: "'No one at inter Miami will have heard of him, they just signed Rodrigo De Paul who won the World Cup with Argentina. It was nice of them to buy the kits though."

Vardy has been touted as a potential option for Wrexham but the Championship club have yet to pursue a move. Manchester United have also been offered the chance to sign him, but they are instead pursuing RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko, while Genoa pulled out of a deal to sign the 38-year-old. 

Vardy will hope to find a new club before the season gets properly underway. He has been holidaying throughout pre-season.
