WHAT HAPPENED?
The Cityzens and the Reds have been long-time admirers of the Germany international and had sent scouts to monitor him in recent Bayern Munich games. Now according to the Daily Star, the Bundesliga outfit offered Musiala a new deal that would have seen him earning £150,000-a-week from the next season but the player has reportedly refused to sign a new contract.

The reigning European and English champions are determined to seal a move for the attacking midfielder but they are set to face fierce competition from the Merseyside. Another Premier League giant Chelsea are also keen on signing the 21-year-old.
