Jamal Musiala to the Premier League? Liverpool and Man City on high alert as transfer target rejects Bayern Munich contract offer

The Cityzens and the Reds have been long-time admirers of the Germany international and had sent scouts to monitor him in recent Bayern Munich games. Now according to the Daily Star, the Bundesliga outfit offered Musiala a new deal that would have seen him earning £150,000-a-week from the next season but the player has reportedly refused to sign a new contract.

The reigning European and English champions are determined to seal a move for the attacking midfielder but they are set to face fierce competition from the Merseyside. Another Premier League giant Chelsea are also keen on signing the 21-year-old.

The former Chelsea youth product has performed consistently for the Bavarian club this season having scored nine goals in 28 matches across all competitions and has provided four assists.

Musiala will be next seen in action on Tuesday as Bayern Munich take on Lazio in the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash at Allianz Arena.
