'Gonna miss you buddy' - USMNT's Christian Pulisic sends heartfelt message to Olivier Giroud after AC Milan star scores in final game before LAFC move

AC Milan star Christian Pulisic has sent out a heartfelt message to Olivier Giroud as the Frenchman prepares for a move to LAFC this summer.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Giroud is all set to leave European football behind as he has agreed a move to Major League Soccer with Los Angeles FC. The French superstar joined the Rossoneri in 2021 and was a major part of their Serie A title win in his very first season. He also played a part in the club's surprise run to the Champions League semi-finals last season.

WHAT PULISIC SAID
The USMNT star gave his farewell to Giroud with a special message on his Instagram story, he said: "Gonna miss you, buddy. Some special memories together"

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Pulisic and Giroud spent only one season together at AC Milan, however, they did have a two-year overlap during their stints with Chelsea and seem to have formed a special bond with each other. Together the duo also celebrated winning the Champions League in 2021 with Chelsea.
