Gianluigi Donnarumma available at a bargain price as PSG set asking price with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich & Inter considering bid for Champions League winner

According to La Repubblica, PSG have set a €40 million (£34m/$46m) asking price for Donnarumma, whose contract runs out in June 2026. With no extension agreed and financial terms unresolved, the club is open to selling him this summer.

Donnarumma’s standout season, including a Champions League title, hasn’t guaranteed his long-term future at PSG. The club’s strict salary policy and his €10m (£8.5m/$11.5m) wage demanddemands have stalled talks. With only one year left on his deal, Les Parisiens risk losing him for free next summer, prompting them to list him now at a cut-price rate. This has caught the attention of top European clubs including Madrid, Bayern, and Inter.

When asked about his future, Donnarumma said: "I didn't know my agent was at Inter headquarters. I'm happy in Paris and it's the club that will decide whether or not to extend my contract. I'm ready for anything, but the first option is to stay in Paris: I've found the balance, the team and the fans love me and I hope to spend many years here. Now I'm enjoying the present moment and maybe one day I can return to Italy."

The 26-year-old goalkeeper is currently on national team duty with Italy, and a decision regarding his club future is expected after that. PSG are reportedly unlikely to improve their current contract offer, opening the door for top clubs to enter the race. If no agreement is reached, the Ligue 1 side could look to sell the goalkeeper this summer rather than risk losing him for free when his contract expires in 2026.
