Frustration for Mason Greenwood as LFP chalk off ex-Man Utd forward's latest goal for Marseille to leave him trailing Didier Drogba in record books again
Mason Greenwood has seen his latest strike for Marseille now given as an own goal, meaning he still trails Didier Drogba in the record books.
Despite the setback, Greenwood still boasts a prolific record in the French top flight. He has 18 goals from 31 games and sits in second place in the Ligue 1 scoring charts, behind only PSG star Ousmane Dembele. Greenwood was praised by manager Roberto De Zerbi after the win, with the boss having previously questioned his commitment, and the Italian will be hoping his forward can add more goals in the team's final games of the campaign.
