The former Manchester United forward thought he had struck his 19th Ligue 1 goal of the season on Sunday against Brest, matching Didier Drogba's record for a debut campaign with Marseille. However, the LFP has now awarded the goal to Brest defender Brendan Chardonnet as he deflected the shot before it hit the back of the net, leaving Greenwood back on 18 for the season so far, as Foot Mercato reports.

He has 18 goals from 31 games and sits in second place in the Ligue 1 scoring charts, behind only PSG star Ousmane Dembele. Greenwood was praised by manager Roberto De Zerbi after the win, with the boss having previously questioned his commitment, and the Italian will be hoping his forward can add more goals in the team's final games of the campaign.
