The 33-year-old Nigerian, once a star at Stamford Bridge, joined the Championship side on a free transfer on Tuesday. Moses was a free agent after parting ways with Russian outfit Spartak Moscow after a nearly four-year spell. His move to Luton has caught many football fans off guard but they are excited to see him back on English soil.
An X user, @Odogwu_Nomso, wrote: "Victor Moses from the dead 😭🥺"
While a surprised @CFCHorpe wrote: "I had no idea Victor Moses was still an active player 😭."
A shocked @Tunnykvng said: "Out of nowhere."
Whereas, @utdrobbo added: "They've been watching too many Barclaysmen comps."
Meanwhile, @_nseobong asked: "Did he come out of retirement to sign for Luton?"
Moses’ career has taken him across Europe, with stints at various top clubs in England, Turkey, Italy, and Russia. His professional journey began at Crystal Palace, where he made his debut in 2007, before moving to Wigan Athletic in 2010, where he caught the attention of bigger clubs. In 2012, Chelsea came calling, and Moses quickly became an integral part of their squad.
Moses' career highlight came during Chelsea's 2016-17 Premier League-winning campaign under Antonio Conte. The Italian tactician deployed Moses in a wing-back role, a position that he thrived in. In addition to his league success with Chelsea, Moses also lifted the FA Cup (2017-18) and the Europa League (2012-13, 2018-19) at Stamford Bridge.

He recently featured for Luton Town in a behind-closed-doors friendly match, where he impressed the club’s coaching staff enough to secure a contract. He could potentially make his competitive Luton debut against Millwall on Saturday in the Championship.
