Ethan Mbappe's PSG future up in the air as brother Kylian prepares to finally complete Real Madrid transfer

According to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly frozen contract talks with Ethan ever since his elder brother Kylian announced his move to Real Madrid as a free agent next season. The 17-year-old's uncertain future at Parc des Princes has alarmed several clubs in France and Germany.

The teenager made his professional debut for the Ligue 1 giants in the 2023/24 season and has appeared in three matches thus far, including one in the league and two in Coupe de France. Right after his brother announced his departure from the club back in February, Ethan was asked about his future at the French club to which he replied he would love to stay at the French champions.

Even though the France captain's arrival at Santiago Bernabeu is all but confirmed, Los Blancos are unlikely to sign his brother in the summer, Hawkins further stated.

Luis Enrique's side are set to face Clermont Foot in Ligue 1 on Saturday before they take on Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final fixture on April 10.
