Erling Haaland sends four-word message to Kevin De Bruyne after Man City star confirms plans to leave at end of season

On Friday, the Belgium international confirmed he will leave City as a free agent at the end of the season. Now team-mate Haaland, who has played alongside the attacking midfielder for nearly three years, has sung the praises of De Bruyne in a classy social media post.

He posted a photo of them together and wrote on X: "There’s only one Kevin," alongside a crown emoji.

De Bruyne will not only go down as one of City's greatest-ever players, but he is, arguably, one of the best to ever do it in the Premier League. Manager Pep Guardiola believes the 33-year-old will get a statue at the Etihad, as all eyes turn to where the ex-Chelsea man will head next.

De Bruyne and Haaland could play alongside each other when City travel to bitter rivals Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.
