The Erling Haaland and Pep Guardiola cartoon! Man City set to launch kids' TV shows in bid to attract younger fans

City, per the Daily Mail, are considering an ambitious expansion as they aim to produce their own children's television shows. The club, like many other Premier League sides, make their own documentaries in-house but are now considering branching out further into fictional productions.

City are said to have collaborated with Sony Pictures Television as they aim to get their projects off the ground and the report claims that two shows aimed at children are already in the works. Details are unclear but there is the prospect that the likes of Erling Haaland, Pep Guardiola and Kevin De Bruyne could be immortalised in cartoon form.

City chief executive Soriano said: "We have a lot of ideas that we are developing. They are not in the air, we are working on several fictional TV shows. We are working on shows for kids and we have a list of projects that we are excited about."

He added: "When we do these documentaries we don't compete with anyone, we are the only one who have this incredible footage that the [City Studios] team captures.

"If we do fictional TV or shows, we are competing with everybody with Netflix, Amazon or whoever. We are confident we have the creativity, we have the insights in football to create some fictional stories. My hope is you see some of these on your screens in the next few years. I can say that the pipeline of projects is large and the ideas are very exciting."

On the pitch, City play Tottenham this weekend. The Premier League champions have lost their last two league games, to Bournemouth and Brighton, and will be aiming to return to winning ways against Ange Postecoglou's side.
