Following an investigation into 115 breaches of the Premier League's financial regulations, Hamann has warned Pep Guardiola that none of his first-team players would remain at Etihad Stadium if they are relegated to the Championship or even down to League One.

WHAT HAMANN SAID
Speaking to BoyleSports about Premier League Odds, Hamann said: "It would be hard to keep most of the players at the club. It would be a huge blow to City because potentially, a lot of players could be out of contract by then. It would be very catastrophic for City. You can’t expect any player to stay and play in the Championship or League One."
The former Man City midfielder added: "I doubt anything could come of it though. I think Manchester City will avoid the charges and stay in the Premier League."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Hamann also discussed Erling Haaland's likeliest destination if the Norwegian striker was to leave Manchester City.
He added: "Bayern Munich wanted Haaland many years ago. He can still play anywhere, don’t forget that he is still very young. If he ever decides to leave City, he is probably part of a few players who will be able to pick which club he goes to next."
