'We can't stand still' - Erik ten Hag sends out strong transfer message to Man Utd

United have already made significant moves in the transfer market, adding four new players to their roster. “We can't stand still,” he told Sky Sports.

When further asked about which positions he would look to further strengthen, the manager said: "It depends what happens in the market, but I am happy with the squad and I think when we have this squad, I am quite confident ahead of the new season."

In addition to the midfield, Manchester United are also considering reinforcing their left-back position. Injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia have left the club short in this area, raising concerns about depth and durability. Although no specific targets have been mentioned, the club’s scouting team is likely assessing potential candidates who can provide cover and competition for the left-back spot.
