WHAT HAPPENED?
Footage from Real Madrid's training in the United States went viral showing defender Antonio Rudiger giving a hard-hitting welcome to new signing Endrick who joined the club earlier in July from Palmeiras. The senior German defender was seen shoving the young Brazilian with his shoulder to give him a taste of the physical battles that he would have to endure while playing in Europe.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
There were speculations over a possible fallout between the 18-year-old and the former Chelsea defender, however, manager Ancelotti later refuted the rumours as he suggested that it was just a regular welcome that the teenager received. He went on to claim that Kylian Mbappe will also receive similar treatment as soon as he attends his first Los Blancos training session.
WHAT CARLO ANCELOTTI SAID
Speaking to reporters at a press conference, the Italian manager said, "Reports of issue of Rüdiger and Endrick? Nothing happened, Rüdiger just welcomed Endrick (smiles). He will do the same when Mbappe comes, Antonio is a great guy."
