Phallon Tullis-Joyce (5/10):

She did well to prevent Ellen Wangerheim getting a shot away following a dangerous cross in the first half, but she was fortunate not to be punished by Cathinka Tandberg when failing to come for another cross after the break.

Jayde Riviere (5/10):

The defender had a tricky evening up against the lively Julie Blakstad, who was a threat down the left-hand side.

Maya Le Tissier (7/10):

Cool in possession and quick to snuff out danger on a couple of occasions, it was a solid performance from the United captain.

Dominique Janssen (7/10):

Like her centre-back partner, she kept possession ticking over nicely and made an important headed clearance late on as Hammarby pushed for a leveller.

Anna Sandberg (8/10):

One of United's best performers, she stood up to the test defensively and nearly scored with a first-half drive after 18 minutes.

Hinata Miyazawa (8/10):

The Japan international was as composed as ever in midfield, providing the perfect foil for the marauding Julia Zigiotti Olme.

Julia Zigiotti Olme (7/10):

The Swede had a good opportunity to score in the first half but she sliced her effort straight at Hammarby goalkeeper Melina Loeck. She kept driving forward in the second half, injecting plenty of impetus into United's attacking play.

Celin Bizet (7/10):

The winger perhaps should have scored early in the second half when bearing down on goal, but she fired straight at Loeck after rushing her effort. Otherwise she was a consistent threat with her crossing.

Ella Toone (6/10):

United's taliswoman almost scored a second with a late strike following a lovely set up by Melvine Malard.

Melvine Malard (7/10):

She grew into the game after the break, showing excellent skill to keep Celin Bizet's deep cross alive to set up Terland for the winner.

Elisabeth Terland (8/10):

The forward scored the all important goal with a brilliant close-range finish. She could have scored in the first half, too, firing straight at Loeck from Ella Toone's cutback.

Lisa Naalsund (6/10):

A second half substitute for Terland, the midfielder used her experience to help United see the game out.

Marc Skinner (7/10):

The United boss made just one change from the 4-0 victory over PSV Eindhoven, bringing Malard in for Lisa Naalsund, and the forward repaid the faith by setting up the winner.
