Lehmann is on the brink of reaching a significant milestone, as she is just one appearance away from her half-century for Switzerland. She has been showcasing her flair in training and opted for a cheeky Rabona to convert a spot-kick that left her team-mates stunned.

Luiz, on the other hand, had a disappointing outing on Wednesday evening as Manchester City thrashed Villa 4-1 at the Etihad to keep their title charge on track. The Brazilian put in a decent shift but could do little to prevent Phil Foden from running riot.

Lehmann will be in action for Switzerland against Turkey and Azerbaijan on Friday and Tuesday, respectively, as they begin their Euro 2025 qualification campaign. While those results will hardly matter for the Swiss' chances for that tournament, as they are already through as hosts, they will dictate their places for the 2025-26 Nations League campaign.
