'The battle is far from over!' - Cristiano Ronaldo issues strong message to Al-Nassr team-mates after frustrating draw against Saudi Pro League champions Al-Hilal

The Portugal legend's goal drought extended to four games as Al-Nassr were held to a 1-1 draw by Saudi champions Al-Hilal on Friday. Ronaldo missed a few chances as his club squandered an early lead and managed to secure just one point in the crucial Saudi Pro League clash. Talisca had handed Al-Nassr the lead in the first minute of the match but Sergej Milinkovic-Savic's 77th-minute header earned his team a point.

Ronaldo has experienced a sudden slump in form and missed a penalty in the club's last match against Al-Taawoun which saw Al-Nassr exiting the King Cup of Champions at the round of 16 stage. However, after the clash on Friday, the 39-year-old sent a strong message to his team-mates while thanking the fans for their support.

Taking to Instagram, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star shared some of the matchday photographs and wrote in the caption: "The battle is far from over. Thank you all for the support today!"

Stefano Pioli's side, who are now winless in their last three matches across all competitions, will aim to get back to winning ways on Tuesday as they take on reigning Asian champions Al-Ain in an AFC Champions League group stage clash.
