'Family is everything' - Cristiano Ronaldo takes his mother Maria Dolores Aveiro out for special birthday meal at fancy restaurant in Portugal with partner Georgina Rodriguez after gifting her a new Porsche

It is common knowledge that the Portuguese forward shares a very close bond with his mother. Ronaldo flew from Riyadh to Madeira ahead of Maria Dolores' 69th birthday on December 31 and splashed the cash to gift her a new Porsche Cayenne, which moved her to tears. It seems that the party went on late into the night as Ronaldo then took his mother out for dinner at a fancy restaurant along with his partner Georgina Rodriguez, his sister, brother and sister-in-law.

Sharing a few pictures from the birthday bash, Ronaldo wrote on Instagram: "What a special night to end a very special 2023 🙏🏽 Family is everything❤️"

Ronaldo is currently on a winter break from football until Al-Nassr face Al Fehia in the AFC Champions League on February 12. He got on the scoresheet in Al Nassr's 4-1 victory over Al-Taawoun in their final game of 2023 on Saturday and swiftly flew to Portugal to be with his mother on her special day.

Ronaldo was crowned 2023's top goalscorer with 54 strikes to his name. Despite being 38, he has shown no sign of slowing down and the the Portuguese icon has set himself the target of being at the top of the pile again next year.
