The striker, on loan from Pisa, scored the game's fifth goal with a towering header on a cross from Florian Thauvin from the left, hanging in the air for what seemed an age. The goal seemed almost reminiscent Ronaldo's superb header against Sampdoria in 2019, scored during his Juventus playing days, where he rose an incredible 2.56m (8ft 5in).

The game also saw a superb bicycle kick from Cyril Ngone, when he equalized for Verona in the 61st minute, just a few minutes before Lucca's header. The match finished 3-3 in a thrilling encounter which saw Thomas Henry draw the away side in the seventh minute of stoppage time, cancelling out Lucca's header. The draw means Udinese pull away from the drop, while Verona remain in the relegation zone, as they are stuck level on points with Cagliari in 19th.

The Italian striker and his side will next be in action when they travel to San Siro to take on league leaders Inter Milan on Sunday, December 10. Simon Inzaghi's men recorded an impressive 3-0 victory away to reigning champions Napoli later on Sunday.
