Cristiano Ronaldo shows off insane six-pack while sunbathing on Al-Nassr training pitch - with star forward set to return from injury in Al-Hilal clash

The Al-Nassr star relaxed with a bit of sunbathing after continuing his recovery from injury with a morning session on the grass with team-mates. Ronaldo had spent the early part of the week celebrating his 39th birthday but his renowned commitment to keeping in shape meant he didn't indulge too much when it came to the giant birthday cake he was presented with by partner Georgina Rodriguez and family.

"Nothing beats a little sunshine after training," posted the Portuguese superstar on Instagram.

Ronaldo's commitment to his personal fitness means he is still going strong at an age when most players have hung up their boots. In his 40th year the forward looks certain to feature at Euro 2024 leading the line for Portugal.

Ronaldo hopes to make it onto the field when Al-Nassr take on league leaders Al-Hilal in a mid-season friendly on Thursday night. A successful comeback will pave the way for the five-time Ballon d'Or to be ready in time to take on fellow Pro League side Al-Feiha in the last sixteen of the Asian Champions League next Wednesday.
