Ronaldo got on the scoresheet but the 10 men of Al-Nassr could not secure all three points against Al-Shabab on Friday as the game ended in a 2-2 draw. Despite missing the chance to close the gap at the top of the Saudi Pro League, the 40-year-old vowed to "keep fighting".

The Portuguese wrote in an Instagram story, which included an image of his team-mates huddled together, "We will keep fighting!"

Al-Nassr are now fourth in the table, 10 points behind league leaders Al-Ittihad. Time is running out for Ronaldo's team to mount an unlikely comeback as his wait for silverware at the Saudi outfit goes on. Their best hope of lifting a trophy is likely to be in the AFC Champions League at this rate.
