According to a report from MailOnline, private medical professionals have offered their services to Chelsea players amid the ongoing injury problems at the club. It is said that at least two players have rejected offers, instead putting trust in the Blues' medical department.

Chelsea have been one of several sides to suffer numerous injuries throughout the season, with nine players set to be missing for Thursday's clash with Manchester United. It is a contributing factor in yet another poor campaign for the club, with Mauricio Pochettino's men currently sitting in 12th position in the Premier League.

Harry Kane is one of several high-profile players to hire their own doctor, with the England captain employing Canadian-based specialist Dr. Alejandro Elorriaga Claraco to help his troublesome ankle issues.

Chelsea have undergone major change in many areas since the arrival of Todd Boehly in the summer of 2022, with the medical department already being overhauled amid their troubles last season. The Blues are currently looking to appoint a new head of of performance medicine, as well as add a physical performance coach to their ranks, in an effort to end their injury woes.
