Chelsea flop to leave for nothing! £33m Hakim Ziyech set to complete permanent free transfer away from Stamford Bridge

The Chelsea flop joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal last summer and after enjoying a successful stint in Turkey, the Super Lig side has reportedly decided to make his transfer permanent by triggering an obligation-to-buy clause in the player's deal, according to The Standard.

Despite suffering multiple injuries in the current campaign, the Morocco international has managed to perform consistently at every chance he got. The 31-year-old appeared in 21 matches across all competitions where he scored eight times and provided four assists.

The former Ajax player fell out of favour during Graham Potter's stint at Stamford Bridge in the 2022/23 season and was close to completing a move to Paris Saint-Germain in January 2023, however, the deal collapsed at the last moment.

The attacker will be next seen in action on Sunday as Okan Buruk's side take on Fatih Karabukruk in a league clash away from home.
