Linked with move for Napoli striker Osimhen

WHAT ENZO MARESCA SAID
The Italian told reporters: "If we have the chance to bring in a nine that can help us and make the difference, then we are going to try. Otherwise, we are okay. We do not need to sign players just to sign players. If we sign players and they help us to improve, then for sure we need players. Otherwise, we are happy with the way we are.”
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Much has been made of Chelsea's bloated squad, which encompasses more than 40 players. But for all their signings and the billions spent on transfers, the Blues still, arguably, need a striker and Osimhen is still available. Chelsea have been trying to sign him on loan but Napoli want a permanent exit for the 25-year-old. Whether they can sign the Nigerian remains to be seen.
