The France and Brazil attackers joined the European and Spanish champions during the summer transfer window. THE BIGGER PICTURE

Ancelotti is happy with the way the forwards have adapted to their new surroundings and is confident that they can enjoy another successful campaign after winning the European and domestic double last season. However, he urged his stars to give their all in every match.

  • WHAT ANCELOTTI SAID

"Real Madrid have very high standards because it's the biggest club in the world," he said at a conference in Mexico. "It has the greatest players. You have to be able to bring their quality to the service of the club. That's what we try to do every year. This year, the new players like Kylian and Endrick are adapting very well. We're going to have a great season competing in all competitions. Winning is very complicated, but our duty is to compete in every game as always at this club. Never give up and compete until the end. That's what you have to do when you put on that shirt."

WHAT NEXT FOR MBAPPE AND ENDRICK?

Mbappe did not impress for France as they were beaten 3-1 at home by Italy in the Nations League on Friday. He will hope to put in a better display against Belgium next week. Endrick, though, could be involved as Brazil take on Paraguay after he was left on the bench for the match against Ecuador.
