Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal offers teasing update on romance with Nicki Nicole amid talk of split

Yamal was filmed in the dressing room by good friend and team-mate Nico Williams after grabbing two assists in a 6-0 win in World Cup qualifying. Yamal blew a kiss as he showed off his phone screen and revealed his wallpaper is a picture of himself with Nicki Nicole. Williams added the words "my boy is in love" to the video.

Yamal has been rumoured to be a in a relationship with Nicole throughout the summer and posted a loved-up picture with the rapper in August during her 25th birthday celebrations. Nicole was also spotted wearing a Yamal shirt and watching the teenager in action for Barcelona during the Joan Gamper Trophy. Recent speculation had suggested the couple had split, just weeks after seemingly making their romance official, but Yamal's latest update suggests that may not be the case.

Yamal had an eventful time in Turkey with Spain. He played a starring role as Luis de la Fuente's side ran riot against the hosts but then faced being left stranded after losing his passport.

Yamal did manage to get his passport issue resolved, meaning he's been able to head home and will start preparing for Barcelona's next La Liga match on Sunday against Valencia.
